Dear Residents,
I find the same subject is being discussed under many topics. I request users to post their comments under the same topic - without creating a new topic. This will facilitate continuity of discussion.

Sir Tamilnadu Electricity Board officials take readings of power consumed once in two months and they do not take reading at a regular interval. Apart from that we have no knowledge of the date and some residents have handed over the electricity consumption cards to JARA office of course unofficially, but many residents keep the card themselves. As and when officials reach our apartment residents are alerted and requested to get the reading filled. In some cases they do not fill the amount and it is difficult to make payment thro cheque. In certain cases they have even told us to go to Internet and fine out the bill amount. In my case this month I casually checked for the bill amount and noticed a certain sum shown as due. I effected payment and then I received a mail stating that it is for additional deposit. If I have not seen that accidentally there could have been a disconnection TNEB is my personal problem but please explore whether the association can contribute so that it would be easy Thanks, regards Seshadri
