Almost what I need

First, I want to say JapelServer is perfect for most of what I am
trying to accomplish. I am finally able to play MPG. OGG and other
files on my IPod from my mythtv box without transcoding them first to
mp4s.

I need some VLC help to get a 100% of what I am looking for. I want to
watch the actual live video feed from my analogue tuner, rather than a
stream of an existing mpg file, so if the stream gets broken it does
not start at the beginning of the file (since I cannot fast forward).
My tuner is set to North American VHF channel 4 and pulls all feeds
from a cable top box, so the mythtv tuner never changes.

Any idea what changes I would have to make to the VLC profile to
connect to channel 4, instead of a media file?
