I have used the no-cd patch before. I chose to no longer use the no cd patch as the night lights of custom buildings would not light up. If you still wish to run the program without a disc, I would advise you to make an image copy of the disc and run the image on a phantom dvd drive. The game loads and plays faster with no visual or performance sacrifices.
