Hey guys!

I wanted let you all know about a project I've been working on over
the past couple of years called "AniBroad": http://anibroad.net. It's
a social bookmarking and voting site catered to bloggers of Otaku
culture. It started as a blog directory and feed aggregator, but I was
unhappy with the way things were going, development-wise. I rewrote
the site in another programming language and things have been better!
But the purpose shifted to a bookmarking/voting site with the
intention of adding the original features in the future with the help
of success.

I'm upset at the fact that there isn't enough sites aimed towards
Japan bloggers, especially Anime and Otaku bloggers. Some social news
sites that do help Anibloggers look down on certain blogs that include
anime, but say it's not enough to meet their "requirements"... And
let's not forget that it's hard to get recognition on big sites like
Digg, be it a Japan or Fandom website. In addition to Anime/Manga/
Otaku bloggers, I hope this helps Japan bloggers, adding to the list
of social news tools available for the Japan blog community!

It's still in the stages of development, but please check it out, let
me know what you think, and feel free to suggest other features to
make the site better! ^_^
Arigato Gozaimasu!
