Hi,

It won't show up in the list in iCloud, but if you go to 'storage and backup' in that screen, and then select 'manage storage', you should see 'kanji renshuu' (which is where the data for all our apps is stored).  If you select 'kanji renshuu' do you see a list of files including your decks that you are not seeing as synchronized, or are they missing from that list too?

Thanks
Ray

Hi!

I just recently bought an iPad, and am having troubles synchronizing my decks between iPod and iPad. It says to use iCloud, but in Systems - iCload, the JMW app doesn't appear. And synchronization doesn't happen automatically either.

What's the proper way to do it?

Hi,

In Kanji Renshuu I see the deck, but it's not in the JMW app when I open the decks.

Is there a button for synchronization? I have tried so many times anything I can think off, that I'm not sure, if it even tried to synchronize after my last manipulation or not.

The full problem was that I synchronized only iPod with iTunes all the time, and then synchronized iPad with iTunes, all decks appeared in iPad. But then I added to same deck, but under different section names flashcards in iPod, and on other day on iPad. A day later the message appeared that iCloud can't synchronize it.

By the way, when I open iPad in iTunes, the App section, and then JMW, it shows me only 3 files that finish with '.plist', but iPod shows also all the decks.

Hi!

Any progress in resolving the problem? There was an update saying synchronization bug fixed, but it still doesn't synchronize for me.
I have no evidence, but I think it uploaded my decks from iPad to iCloud, but iPod does NOT download them from there. Have no idea why.

I'm not aware of any outstanding sync issues.  Synchronization should appear as 'Kanji Renshuu' in the iCloud control panel.  Do you see that on both devices?  Do you see the files and your flash decks in there?

Thanks

Cloud sync has nothing to do with iTunes. If you are seeing flash deck files in the app section in iTunes on your iPod, it sounds like iCloud may not be enabled on that device. Can you check in settings that Icloud is enabled?

Thanks

Hi!

I checked iCloud, on both devices it is on, and last back up is also up to date on both. I see my needed deck on both devices on iCloud, but on iPod when I open the app and Deck section there is no this deck still, there are others, but not the one I created on iPad.
How about making synchronize button? The problem is already taking over a week... seriously, it's a paid app.

And I still don't see my decks in the app on iTunes on iPad, in section for deck sharing.

Hi,

Please email me at sup...@rakudasoft.com for a faster response.  You won't see them in the App section when they are moved to the cloud.  They can only be in one place or the other (unfortunately).  At some point, I would like to add an 'export' option in the application.  Assuming the application is up-to-date on the iPod, it should be finding the cloud and reading the list of decks from there.  If not, the next step is to get some debug information from your device.  Can you email me at the support address, and I'll send you instructions.  Thank you.

Thanks
Ray

Damn. Just tried to use the iCloud. The app did not start (crashed) after showing some message for a second. So I deleted the iCloud account. The app began to work again. But all my decks are now lost. More than 3 years of daily usage and 5000+ words :-/

What do you mean by deleted your iCloud account? Deleting from the phone does not mean it is gone from the server. Please contact me at sup...@rakudasoft.com and I can try and help.
