Alright!

We finally got our first assignment. Here are the answers to some of
the questions that are coming up.

Q: The line by line method won't really lend to very good
translations. Is it okay if I translate by sentence?
A: Yes. Translate the sentence. If the English sentence took 3 likes,
make sure the Japanese translation also takes up three lines.

Q: Is it okay to correct the English transcript?
A: No. Do not correct the English. However, give the correct Japanese
translation. If you find an error in the English transcript please
contact me. Be explicit. Give the page number, time stamps, the
original, and your correction.

Q: Are we going to get paid?
A: No. All work done for The Zeitgeist Movement and its chapters is
strictly on a volunteer basis. If you wish to 'pass' on an assignment
please let me know.

Q: Am I the only Japanese person doing translations?
A: No. Roughly half of our Japanese translators are natives. At least
three are professionals or former professionals. Please use this group
to communicate with each other. Discuss any problems you may have with
your translation.

Please direct any further questions here. Also, let me know if you are
not satisfied with any of the answers I provide or if you need further
elaboration.

Thank you,

kelly
