Japanese queer found dead by his "adopted son and lover" with face cut off

A transgender man — who was in a relationship with his adopted
son — was found dead with his face skinned off by a knife inside
his Tokyo apartment, according to reports.

The man, who was assigned the female gender at birth and
recently underwent a sex change, was found dead in his Tokyo
apartment with his body wrapped in a blanket, officials said.

Yoshi Tsuchida, 38, was discovered by his adopted son and
roommate, 28, who called police on Nov. 12 upon discovering his
faceless body, Channel News Asia reported.

According to reports, the two were involved in a romantic
relationship with a history of violence, the Japan Times
reported.

Tsuchida's skinned-off face was covered with a plastic bag,
according to reports.

"When I woke up my father was bleeding from the face," the
adopted son told police, according to the Jiji Press.

The Tokyo Metropolitan Police were investigating the case under
"suspicion of damaging a dead body."
