Hi
I Have aquired an SG20 without a hard drive. I wonder if anyone could help
me by supplying a hard drive image?

Laurence

Let me know how you want me to send you an image for the SG20.

I have been using a Magnia SG20 for almost a year now and I have
learned a few tricks. I bought mine from Ubid in Feb for $150! Great
deal.
I use it in an apt. building to create my own WiFi group. I also have
been using the VPN function over Comcast HiSpeed with some success.

Tip #1: If you get an "Orinoco Gold USB client" from ebay (or another
source, they can be considerably cheaper than just buying the card
itself. And, guess what? If you open the cover...inside IS the
standard Gold Card! Plus, you get a USB to PCMCIA adapter to
experiment with.
If anyone is interested...Toshiba's online support is not that good,
so it would be nice to get Magnia users to trade ideas here.

P.S. the listed email is not correct...if anyone responds to this, I
will reply in this group or...
.
Thanks all

I'm certainly interested. I have one on order to play with and my Linux
skills are virtually non existent. Have been reading what I could find in
anticipation but information seems a little sparse. I guess because the
original pricing of these units was somewhat out of the hobbyists range.

I ordered the USB client so I hope your tip is good!

There are two Yahoo groups, Magnia_SG10 and Magnia_SG20. The SG10 has
some SG20 info as it existed before the SG20 group was created.

How do you find the Yahoo groups? I've tried to find Magnia "forums"
on Yahoo with no luck.
Thanks, Steve

I guess this is old and not sure if any one else posted that they can supply a hard drive image for the SG20. I have one. If you still want it let me know.
