I am in the US, and was wondering what television display format (NTSC, PAL,
etc..) is used in China?

Also, are VHS tapes encoded in these display settings, or do they work for
any television that you view them on?

Thanks,

Chris

Mainland China - Pal
Taiwan - NTSC
Hong Kong - Pal

You may use multi-system VCR if you need that.
Most TV sets in use are NTSC/PAL multi-system now.
I remember one time my friend bought VHS tapes from one American
transformer fans
and the tapes were in SUPER VHS. We hardly found one SUPER VHS VCR to
paly it back.

Thanks a bundle.
Maybe flowers might be a better gift, as I still don't know if she has
access to a VCR/DVD/etc..

I can tell you how long it takes her to ride by bus to her home, but can't
seem to figure out if she has a VCR. Hehehe.

Oh well. I've got other gift ideas to consider. Actually, I'll post a
message here about a gift for a chinese girl.

Eureeka!!
