There a few questions left in my FAQ
(<plug> http://faq.pen3.cjb.net </plug>) which are still unanswered.
So I'll throw them out to the group for input...

"Where can I get Anime Music Videos?"
Does Tessai's FTP has these? Are there any other good sites/servers?

"When/how are [the movies] being released outside of Japan?"
Who is doing the releasing? Is there a link that would say the
release data (which would probably keep changing)? Is there still
going to be theatrical release?

"What is the EoE Pamphlet/Red Cross Book?"
Would people describe this as some movie collectable with background
information?

"What are the "Evangelion: Death" and "Evangelion: Rebirth" Pamphlet?"
How are these different from the EoE one?

"Issues regarding translations of the EoE Pamphlet"
Are there issues with the translation? I don't think I've read an
actual translation, just heard references to it.

Lastly there was a question/subject:
"A note on occidental NGE websites"
I'm not really sure what was meant to go in here. I guess a general
warning about wrong information. Does anyone else remember something
specific that should go in here.

Of course if there is any other information that people think should
be added...

Thanks

http://animemusicvideos.org is a great site for AMV's.

The movies are being released by Manga Entertainment (http://www.manga.com).
Release date for Death and Rebirth is July 30. EoE is set at September 24.
No theatrical release that I know of. >_> They're being released in Dub and
Sub VHS and DVD formats.

<snip>

I've seen several AMV's on iMesh. So any file-sharing service would more than
likely have some. (I like the "Cell Mix" AMV myself. >D )

Also, I would suggest checking out Doki Doki
Productions(www.fiction.org/www/ddp/) -- while they might not have any Eva
AMV's themselves(any Eva content is usually hosted), their stuff is some of the
funniest I've ever seen... >D

Haven't been following this thread prior to this, so apologies if I'm
repeating what someone's already said. As Amani say the release date for
D&R is July 30th but it was originally schedule for release IIRC September
2001 and got pushed back, and pushed back again, and again. Granted they've
never gotten this close to the release date before so maybe it will happen
this time but I'm not holding my breath. Likewise I'll believe Sept 24 for
EoE when I have the disc in my hands and not before.

I know. I downloaded their "Cell Mix" AMV from iMesh a couple of weeks ago.
Very, very funny, that.

well, occidental is Western, as opposed to accidental, which would be an error. The question probably wanted notes on western eva
pages (as opposed to Gainax's, i guess) like Manga or whatever.

Was a big debate ages ago about conflicting translations.... One by
"Bochan_Bird" or something, and one by some guy named Pat IIRC....

In which case, I am quite desperately in love with you. Will you have

Haha, well those are just transcripts of Bochan_Bird's translation,
if anything you should be thanking him. I just noded them up and
added a few comments of my own.

Looks like you've gained an admirer, Wigs. Or a stalker...
