Tsukasa and our little buddy Shinji?

Well, that's not surprising. The character designs for NGE and .Hack
were both done by dear ol' Yoshiyuki Sadamoto.

I believe that Sadamoto once said that Shinji was Nadia with a sex
change.
Gee, you'd think after all this time Sadamoto would come up with some

Yes, very good. Get the Collector's Editions (if you can still find them),
They come with soundtracks and other goodies!

True, but I was refering to characteristics between them, such as:
*SPOILER ALERT!*
1) Shinji and Tsukasa are both painfully introverted.
2) Shinji and Tsukasa are both thrown into situations neither one wants to
be a part of.
3) Both lost their mothers at young ages and have rotten fathers.
4) Both seem to attract polar opposite girls (Shinji gets Asuka and Rei,
Tsukasa gets Mimiru and Subaru)
5) Both are befriended by "Father-figures" (Kaji and Bear)
6) Neither one seems to know what he wants to do with himself.
7) Both are, deep down, very kindly, but also very desparately lonely.
8) Both "Run away" when things get too much for them (Shinji usually into
his music, Tsukasa into the "Mystery Spot")
Any others you can think of?

asked me if I wanted a promo set to review and I, being smart, said
