I posted that I've got a copy of the first movie, Death and Rebirth,
on DVD for sale. I believe it to be bootleg, but it does nonetheless
show the D & R segments completely with a rough but marginally
understandable subtitled translation. Includes theatrical trailers.
Lemme know if you're interested.

but i dont think that i have the only copy on the network but it is how i
got both and the other 26 episodes.

Yes, we know you're getting rid of your bootlegs. I have (get this) a
complete set of NGE (eps 1-26, D&R, and EoE) on VHS. Bought it on
e-gay about 3 years ago for 200$US.

So now we fast forward to the present...

I'm eagerly (which means I'll beat the living shit out of anyone
standing in line before me) awaiting the release of the movies so I
can snag all of the eps on DVD (I already had disk 1, but good god,
it's so bad I took it back and traded it for Alien 3).

In short, if you want to sell your bootlegs to pay for originals,
cool. If you're just selling the bootlegs to profit, that's just
fucked.

We need to pump a little cash in Gainax's (read: ADV and Manga)
pockets so they can keep pumpin out badassed anime (like KKNJ which
I'm currently watching).
