That's because they're more or less detailed fascimiles of the ones in
the show! And that is a good thing.

Stuart? Sean? Shane? Sebastian?
Suddenly I am very, very scared...

Although very much looking forward to the arrival of my Eva:
Resurrection DVD in a few weeks' time.

None of these character names really seem able to convey characters with
any sort of emotional depth to me. What about Misato? Mary? *Minnie?*
Could we be seeing the underestimating of the American public, again?
Will this movie go direct to FOX?

That actually reminds me... Doctor Who fans here might remember the
Americanized Who pilot that was broadcast on FOX. Could the same thing
be happening to Evangelion?

I'll stop now, but hopefully such evidently poor choices on the part of
ADV/WETA are not affecting the ability to shop their script to potential
directors adversely.
