This coming Friday/Saturday/Sunday, I'll be attending an anime
convention here in the UK called Minami-con 9.

As ever, there'll be a dealers room with lots of nice stuff to blow huge
amounts of cash on:)

so I ask, does anyone have any recommendations for any nice Eva stuff I
should keep an eye open for?

I gather that there's quite a few soundtracks available, so I might get
a CD or two.

Also, can anyone tell me the title of a song that plays through End of
Evangelion?

It's the one that plays throughout the whole section where people are
'popping' and turning to LCL.

I think that song is gorgeous and I'd like to get it if I can.

Just a word of caution when buying soundtracks, make sure you dont buy
ANYTHING with SM Records on it! They are not the real deal ... I found out
the hard way... ack!news:Cw$1RXAsB...@warriorprincess.demon.co.uk...

Komm, Süßer Tod (Come, Sweet Death) was accualy written (both the music and
lyrics) for the movies itself, and is a reflection of Asuka's mental state.
The other song written specifically for the movie was Thanatos - If I can't
be yours, another great song.

I have to ask this...

Without being overly graphic (as I don't know what age groups read this
newsgroup), what exactly is it that so many male anime fans see in Rei
Ayanami?

As a female (and I might add, **straight**) Eva fan I obviously don't
quite get what so many male fans see in her.

I mean, okay, she's young, has a good figure etc.
But, in reality, that personality would drive me up the wall. (I know, I
know, it's not the "personality" that some people want her for, I know.)

As for her character, she's perfect for what she was intended for in the
series, but I definitely don't rate Rei as one of my favourite anime
characters. Please don't get me wrong, I do like the character a lot,
but there are characters I like more.

Anyway, that's just my question and opinion and I look forward to seeing
what others think:)
