Does anyone have a listing of all the classical songs used in Evangelion and
or the name of the songs Shinji usually listens to on his "walkman" type
thing. Btw, why did they change the music in EoE on his walkman thing to
classical instead of the original asain pop-type-stuff?

Well, I'm pretty sure that Shinji plays Suiten Fur Violoncello on his cello at
some point. It's more of a medieval piece, I think. Suiten Fur that is. Maybe
with the Violin and cello, it's classical.

I know that
Pachabels Canon (shudder) is used
The ode to joy, of course, is used with Kaoru a lot..
My Fav: Handel's Messiah - THe Hallelujah Chorus.. love that piece
The Canon in G, different to Pachabel's is also used in Death
Im sure there are osme others, but those are the ones i can name atm....
You doing an assignment?
I just finished a music History one.... shudder...

Whats wrong with Pachabels Canon? I quite like it.
And thanx for the more names. Not an assignment, I just like some classical
music, and lots of rap.

Well, you'd have to be a music student, and a string player to get that
reference ^_^. (it gets annoying after played over and over and over again,
standard repetoir for quartets)

I was a music student and a string player and, despite the fact that it's a
very cliched piece of music, I like it. YMMV.

Another piece of classical music which showed up in the movies is Bach's
Unaccompanied Cello Suite #1.

Actually, some rap artists use classical music as background for their raps.

And there's a rap version of the Canon on the Symphony of EVA soundtracks.
