Just out of interest, what's the policy on spam on this group? Obviously
it's not allowed but what do we do once it's posted? Are NoCeEm's used?
(In fact, are they used at all now?) Can a third-party cancel these
messages? Or do we just ignore them?

Apologies for my ignorance...
And apologies if this is already on some FAQ somewhere.

(The specific messages I'm referring to are:
<Y0fUb.7515$qK3....@bignews3.bellsouth.net>
<qiSUb.15827$uS3....@bignews4.bellsouth.net>
<M0rVb.435484$ts4.109718@pd7tw3no>
<DyvVb.439166$ts4.367044@pd7tw3no>)

Although I don't know if there's a better answer, you have to keep in mind
that this newsgroup is maintained in Japan -- we English-speakers just
hijacked it! So any information might be in those "about this Newsgroup"
autopostings that go around every once in a while. I ran one through the
Google translator much, but it didn't do too much good.

Luckily there doesn't seem to be too much spam. I think the spammers have
largely abandoned most non- alt.sex.* newsgroups.

I wasn't aware of that, Thanks.

I'm not sure we have a policy on spam. Do other groups have spam
policies?

Cancel requests are often ignored by many news-servers, since they
have been misused in the pass. It is usually best to just ignore
them.
