Nah Disaster. I have to sign up for one. Looks like I'll be paying
59$/yr for one from www.dynip.com. I swear. All the money I spend on
running this ftp site (hdds, cable bill, etc.) and people can't even
reply to a simple thread. I don't know what this world is coming to.

$59? For ONE year? You are getting ripped off! My domain costs me $30 every
TWO years. that's a package anyhow. That's just the domain though, no
hosting or anything. Want the URL for them?

Oh shit! It's 59$/2yrs. Sorry... I misread the service plans. Still,
it's money that will be sent off in a vacuum, just like my rent, misc.
bills, and car note. *sigh*

Replace the quotes around the entire line. Then you'll see what it
does. The sig is for *nix systems...

In any case, I updated the sig... ^_~

Tried both under Irix, only the 2nd worked.... BTW, you may want to
stick a "\n" on the end. ;-)

It should print "[RnK]Tessai".
The quotes are not quite right.

You should use different quotes or escape them.

And what exactly should he do with a URL/Domainname only?
What he needs is a domainname which is not permanently connected to an
IP-Address. Like dynip.com. What you have is a domainname permanently
connected to a server/IP-Address and maybe a redirect. Thats easy, only
one time configuring the DNS-Server. Redirects does the webserver of your
provider. No big deal. Dynip isn't that easy, thats why it costs (much)
more.

Or you could always pay nothing from http://www.dyndns.org/. ;-)

Yeah? Okay then. I don't consider it to be hard when all you have to do is
set it up once and forget about it though. We all know that the pricing is
based on what sounds harder to do rather then actual man hours put into it.
