Question about the movies

Someone taped them for me. I know that I don`t have Death (don`t care),
but I`d like to know if I`m missing anything. The first begins with a
live action wave NGE credit then goes to Asuka in the bed, then to a
credit "Air", it is 44-45 mintes. It is "Rebirth", but I don`t know if
it is part of the first movie or a stand alone film, it is subbed
(possibly fan subbed). The second film beign with the same live acton
wave NGE credit and after a minute the credit "My Pure Heart For You",
it is about 44-45 minutes also. No title "End of Evangelion" is in the
film. Also subbed. They were made before the US releases. Other than the
recap of "Death" is there anything in the films Death & Rebirth and EOE
that seems not to be in these two films I have?, thanks Stephen

What you describe is actually what everyone calls "End of Evangelion".

I`ll try to be more on point: Death & Rebirth ends with "Air" , EOE
begins with "Air". I`ve seen written that the "Air" in EOE is a
continuation of "Air" in D&R, I`ve seen written that they are the same
but "Air" in EOE has fewer scenes than in D&R, I can`t find a run time
for "Air" in either film, or for EOE. Given what I have is there any
reason to see D&R for anything in "Air" I don`t have?

As far I as know, they are both the same (in D&R and EoE), at least, I
didn't notice any difference while watching them.
