I don't know where they got those signs, but it is definitely NOT the Dead
Sea Scrolls, as they are most definitely not Hebrew characters or
characters from any other language I've seen. Wing, if you're so
interested, why don't you try to do some research on your own?

I just watched Eva again last week. And I paused on that screen for a bit
cos I thought the first symbol looked like the kanji character for heaven,
But stylised Kanji is very hard to read and that pictures very dark. But
there again it could just be coincidence.
Anyone else got ideas?
BTW kanji = Chinese characters imported to Japan.

As to translation or anything.. well again, I suppose I could take a
gander when I'm in next week if I get the chance....and the dictionary
actually has any of the translations for the symbols (which I'm
doubtful of)
