I have the DVD in pre-order for a while now, they say its released in
mid-januari. Arrival around februari. btw; This isn't a movie but
features episodes 24-26 with all the scenes which were originally
planned (or not planned but simply left out, I'm not sure there).

There are 2 releases: Genesis Reborn (24-26) and Ressurection (21-23).

*nod*. I'm still waiting for them to be shipped together.

As far as I know its more like a 'remake' of the first ending (the
series).

Yep, Ressurection is Ep.s 21-23 redone. I'm in the same boat, they are in
but beening "Reserved For Your Order".

This is a description of Ressurection.

Watched most of Resurrection, which certainly gives more depth to the
series... as though it needed it^_^

Back to your query, rightstuf.com has Reborn up for release on March
9th. No extra info on the live-action, though. Which is just as well,
considering the WETA poofter on this disc was less than eloquent or
enthusiastic about their participation. His sidekick seemed more
interested in the project, who should have been interviewed alone, IMHO.
And the preliminary sketches have me somewhat on edge, as it seems they
ARE preparing to age the cast a bit, as many had suspected. Radcliffe,
get thee back, demon!!
