Directly from your DVD drive - in high quality. You could use mencoder,
FlaskMPEG, DeCSS and other tools for that. Please don't encode to too
low quality if you do not intend to hurt your eyes.

It seems to have hurt your eyes. You eyes are so severely damaged that
you don't notice your keyboard's shift key is broken. Poor nickay420...
I think you should go to the doctor's, maybe he can still help you.
Get well soon!

So here's a recommendation: if you really don't want do pay, please do
not download low quality encodings like nickay420 did. It really hurts
your eyes. You have been warned.

Off hand I'd suggest using your search engine and type "anime" or "free
anime" depending on your budget.

And I have too much time.

This is a photo of the last IMO training seminar at Oberwolfach (in the
MFO, which stands for "Mathematisches Forschungsinstitut Oberwolfach"
[E: mathematical research institute Oberwolfach]). I'm the one who
should have used the razor more often, just programming something on the
notebook. I do not know any more what it was, but it seemed to be
somehow interesting.

But why am I posting it here? Yes, it's because I had a guest
appearance. Someone from Japan visited us, wrote all three tests. She
would have been in the team, if she was allowed to. She seems to like
being photographed... unfortunately the camera did not want to
photograph anything and focused to somewhere too far away. But I do not
know how what I did on the notebook could be more interesting than
her...

And it was:

Okay, first, yer not helping anyone by providing sources of theft and you
certainly are not helping the creators of NGE. Second I said that I
wouldn't kill file you yet and last, you are very new if you don't

I admit, I fileshare. Well, I do when I'm not too lazy to install one
of those programs, which at the moment I am. But (and this is something
that I understand, but still surprised me) anime fans seem to be far
more loyal than your everyday music fan. And it's good to know, but
still I have real issues with dropping $40 for four episodes of Eva.
One day, I will, but I wish anime weren't so expensive here... at
least, the series are.

Wanna risk another Poll Watchman? Or how about a statistical analysis of
posts overt the years we have been here?

We can run up the number of posts made by everyone each month and compare
the number of times each of us has more posts per month then anyone else.

Hmmm, but then you'd also have to count the posts that don't really mean
anything. Like a 3 word phrase of some sort. I think some of the posters for
all that porn might be in the running for posting more than anyone else.

I'd prefer to be paid...

Nice pic. I don't mind the images being used, they're so small you
can hardly tell.

One thing, why is Rei standing on a chair?

'cause there was no better place for her to be completely visible? Any
place nearer to the camera would result in her head or her shoes not
being visible. Cutting out parts is not a big issue and would be even
easier if *both* pictures were sharp and none were MPEG-encoded.

I think the point though is not to show all of the pic but rather to make
it look as though she is actually there! That is put her on the floor in
front of the chair! That would look more realistic then having her stand
on the chair.

If you'd asked I could have supplied clean non-jpeg versions of my

Yours wasn't a problem. I wrote MPEG because I extracted the background image
from a MPEG video file.
