I've been searching for the answer to this everywhere but I keep finding the
same FAQs which are no help. In the Evangelion N64 game, Mission 5 (Dance
Like You Want to Win,) How does one actually enter the commands? I try to
enter them as they appear, the command is rejected. I try to hold down all
the C buttons listed at once, the command is rejected. I try to go faster,
slower, command is rejected. I've tried every single frelling combo and
nothing even remotely works! What are you supposed to do?

Since I do not have a copy (virtual or otherwise) of this game, this is
coming out of the blue, but maybe you need another person on a second
controller to match the movements as well. The stage sounds like it's
based on the fight where Shinji and Asuka had to sync with each other
to beat the angel that split itself into two lesser angels.

I figured it out! The emulator doesn't update the button pictures. For
example, if you get the first three movements, it'll display the first three
movements as the next three, but it will be expecting a different combo than
it is showing. If you hit F5 to savestate and then immediately F7 to
loadstate right after, it'll clear the buffers or something and show you the
correct next three moves. Hope this helps somebody! :OD
