There is a Ghostbusters *Movie*? I have seen the cartoon series a
handful of times. 90 Minutes of that low quality non-stop? Even if
the choice would be 24 hours a day sharing a small room with Asuka
for a month I wouldn't watch it. Even Rei wouldn't obey Gendos
command to watch such a movie :-|

Hey, the Ghostbusters movies positively ROCK. Dan Ackroyd and Bill Murray?
Sigourney Weaver? How can you beat that?

I do believe the animated series came out AFTER the movies, though. The
movies are really very funny and entertaining.

It's ok, they're foreigners... (note that even though I'm using a server
in Germany to post, I'm American)

(note note: that this is a US-centric joke)

(note note note: baka-gaijin!)

There have been at least two Ghostbusters TV series, the original from
when I was a kid not so long ago (I have ViewMasters of it!) and the
slightly newer "Ghostbusters Extreme!" or some such thing. The original
movies are great; I'm looking at my DVD of 1 and considering watching it
right now.

As for sharing a small room with Asuka for a month...

I was just kidding :-> I know the movies and like them. It was only a
funny remark on 'somebody does not know Ghostbusters???'

Anyone here old enough to have seen the *original* Ghostbusters show in
the mid 70's? It was even more of a screwball comedy than the two movies,
starring Forrest Tucker and Larry Storch (the comedy duo from the 60's farce
F-Troop). They had devices to "dematerialize" ghosts and a gorilla
sidekick. It aired on Sat mornings after "Far Out Space Nuts", IIRC.

I do! I did saw a cartoon series (can't remember seeing the
live-action series, though).

By the way, the 80's Ghostbusters cartoon was called Real Ghostbusters
because of that show. Read the infor @:
http://tvtome.com/RealGhostbusters/

Now, back on the purpose of the original post, it would have been
interesting to see an Angel/Disciple with such powers, and what each
of the Children would have created, if a new Ange were to be created
out of their thoughts. And to make it original, the Angel would not
have to ask; he/she might as well "scan" their minds (as done to
Asuka) for their darkest fears and use that against the Children. That
would make an interesting battle to see. Not only a fight for survival
but a fight against their fears and doubuts, and that's the case with
some of them already!

That reminds me of a chapter of C.S. Lewis' _Voyage of the Dawn
Treader_, when they enter the waters of an island where their worst
nightmares all appear to be coming true.
