Dear Friends of JUCA,

We're celebrating the 23rd year of JUCA, as well as President Miyahara's 12-year service for this association as he will step down as the president this year. For this special occasion, we'll hold a social in Gaylord Room 15224 (my room), which is a junior suite, at 5:15 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 22. So, please feel free to bring your friends to the social.

Finally, preparing food and drinks for the social costs JUCA. We'd really appreciate it if you could make a donation to us. Even $10 or $20 would be greatly appreciated. Please talk to Dr. Takai or me for donations.

We're a small association, but we welcome everyone who's interested in any scholarship related to Japan. I hope you'll bring new members to JUCA as we offer a free membership. See you tomorrow!

I am happy to continue to stay attached to JUCA in my retirement. I have great memories of papers and panels and parties with the JUCA folks.
