to Japan Enrichment Excursion
Hi All,

Two things:
1) We meet tomorrow at 9 AM. Steve Skinner is on-deck for a discussion
of flat-slab tectonics and implications for the structure of the
Japanese Islands. This discussion could expand into a number of
significant directions in they structure, geology, and geophysics of
the region...

2) Prof. Kakegawa from Tohoku University has secured a grant from his
university of ¥10,000 per day for each of us to cover the costs of our
joint excursion with Tohoku students during our 3 days in Miyagi
Prefecture. This is awesome and all we need to provide in exchange,
for the government to process the paperwork, is this: from each
student a brief CV (name, present address, date of birth,
college education (school, degree, enrollment and graduate dates mm/
yy), job history (if any!),
your major field and your current division, option, and work address.

Please send me these documents (no need to puff up the resumé ... just
the facts!) in the next couple days so we can turn the package around
and get it back to Kakegawa-sensei.

Thanks!
