The new community will support the evolution of Social Business Standards and address the results of W3C Social Business Jam held in 4Q2011.
Over 1000 people contributed their thoughts / requirements to the Jam and as a result six focus areas were identified:
• Identity Management For Social
• Mobile and Social
• Information Management
• Business Process Meets Social
• Seamless Integration of Social
• Metrics For Social Business
The new Community will develop Use Cases addressing the focus areas, best practices papers to speed adoption of social business and recommendations to Standards Development Organizations (SDOs) on gaps in the existing standards which support social business.
The next meeting for the W3C Social Business Community will be held March 13th. We welcome your company joining, for no fee, by visiting http://www.w3.org/community/socbizcg/. Look forward to your participation and adding your voice to addressing the identified focus areas.
