Dear friends,
I am working on the second edition of my book “Ambedkar and Ambedkarism: Foundation, Building Blocks and Relevance”. This is an edited handbook, comprising articles on different dimensions of Ambedkar and Ambedkarism. I am attaching a PDF of the first edition.

For the second edition of this book, I have received many excellent articles for inclusion. We are indebted to all the authors. But we are yet to receive a few suitable articles on the topics listed below.

If you can write on any of these, you are welcome. If you have a previously published paper related to these topics, I can consider them also.

Or, If you know any person who can write well on these topics, please forward this email to her/him. It would be a great help!

The book will be published in both Hindi and English. The writers can write in Hindi or English at their convenience. We will get them translated at our level.

Thanks. I have no idea who has suggested my name. I am not a scholar but have read 
about Dr Ambedkar and am quite aware of his enormous contribution. Let me think about
it; I guess, I can contribute an article. what's the deadline? How many words?

Hi!
        I am forwarding my article written some back. If it interests you, I can update it ,
i can refer to Shashi Tharoor's biography of Dr Ambedkar and also address the issue 
regarding the duration of the affirmative action. A vast majority of commentators stress
that even Baba Saheb himself had proposed the provision of reservation only for 10 years
so it should be discontinued .I strongly believe that the founders of the Indian constitution
erred on two fronts on this issue. They overestimated the understanding, appreciation, 
compassion ,kindness and genuine desire of the Higher castes to embrace the Dalit Samaj
and work for their emancipation and also overestimated the ability to of the Dalits to make 
up in ten years for the deprivation of 2000 years !They were wrong on both counts. I can 
elaborate thus argument in my article while updating it.
