<D-?> Keyboard Modifiers in Linux(PC)

Hi there,

From the documentation keys used:

<D-F> Ack.vim             
<D-t>  CtrlP
<D-/>  NERDCommenter

I'm guessing that D is the Control modifier button on a Mac?

How would I accomplish that keypress in vim/gvim on a PC in Linux?
