Fresh install breaks with complaints on SSL certificate verify failed

After running the install script as mentioned on GitHub, I get the following error

All the commands leading up to this on a fresh Mac OS X 10.8:

brew install macvim ctags  ruby ack

curl -Lo- https://bit.ly/janus-bootstrap | bash

It's a known issue and unfortunately, it's not a Janus issue, you have to install ruby with SSL support, please see #481.
