Folks,
I believe there is a conflict with the latest MacVim and the vim-pep8 plugin that is bundled with Janus. I've started experiencing
https://github.com/carlhuda/janus/issues/439 myself after upgrading python to 2.7.3 via homebrew.
In the past we've removed plugins dependent on ruby gems because of the issues it causes with different environments, and I believe we're going down a similar path with python.
Regarding PEP8, there is an alternative. We already bundle Syntastic and it supports the
flake8 package that will do both linting and pep8 style checking.
Looking for thoughts and ideas. I would be ok with removing the vim-pep8 plugin and documenting it along with alternatives.
Thanks,
Adrian
