to January 2011 Clean Eating Challenge
Oh, my gosh! What a great experience. One that definitely had it's
up and downs. I wanted to weigh in and get measured up before I wrote
this final note. I am so proud of myself! At the begining of this
challenge I will honestly tell you I was driven by a chance to WIN!
At this point, I could care less about the prize. I've already won!
Just about the cheesy-est thing I have ever written. But, really... I
feel great, I don't have the highs and lows of a carbohydrate rich
diet. Man is that a God send. I rarely feel hungry. Awesome,
because I was definatly a grazer before. I am Happy, especially at
work, strange but true, the little things just don't get to me as
much.
This challenge has tought me that planning and preparation is the key
to the success of any diet program. And this one definatly took some
effort to find variety. But I worked that out and don't doubt that
this is going to become a regular diet routine for me. I prided
myself the first 28 days for not cheating but in the end I caved in
during a girls weekend away. But in the end was OK with it. It
felt good to get back home and get squared away for the week. It was
easy to get right back into the groove.
I think my main focus of this challenge was to concentrate on getting
my diet organized. I was consistant with working out but really
didn't pay to much attention to how I was performing. Being so new to
Crossfit many of the exercises are new and challenging. But I let go
of my fear and am willing to try anything. I did overcome my fear of
Handstands. Which was probably more fear of failure!
