I, too, am saddened by the ending of this Clean Eating Challenge. No,
not because I will miss trying to respond to most if not all of the 75
wonderful participants each week. But because, I seem have a husband
who does not care to work on his sugar cravings. He also appears to
have a very good friend, whom you all know but I will not mention
here, who has stated "we make each other weaker". The motivation
provided by all of your fabulously enlightened & entertaining posts
was perfect.
I know I do better off grains & sugars, especially, but it has taken a
couple of clean eating challenges to notice some of the subtle changes
involved. This time, subtle improvements have been noted in my
performance. I have achieved a few movements that I have not been able
to in the past & very well could explain off by saying I just wasn't
trying hard enough in the past. But I know better.
Remember for those of you planning on pizza & beer, try introducing 1
group at a time so you can determine what you are able to tolerate. If
you have pizza & beer right away, and feel awful that night/next
morning, you won't know if it was the dairy, gluten/grain, alcohol,
sodium etc. Go slow, you will appreciate it more....
Looking forward to matching some faces w/names on Saturday night!!

I agree with lynn. It may sound appealing to go crazy and eat what you want but your body will hate/punish you for it. Trust me. It also took me a few of these to findout the subtle changes. Like the fact that sugar at night makes me sleep restless. Take time reintroducing it will be worth it.
