to January 2011 Clean Eating Challenge
The thing I'm most interested in would be to see what people would
write this time next week. I'm certainly curious about how I'll feel
after reintroducing foods. I have yet to decide whether I want to
drink milk or beer first, but Friday brings California travels and In-
and-Out (gut bomb, paradise or both).
Superbowl was not as difficult as I expected, mostly because my
friends brought over utterly uninteresting beers. It was a little
harder as I had been looking forward to an amazing chili recipe
instead of chips 'n dip, but the chili fell flat, making the whole
experience fairly bland.
Otherwise, things have been same as usual. I'll probably continue a
few things- meat for breakfast, and tea rather than coffee (I've been
really strict about no caffeine after noon), though a walk to Proctor
might occasionally entail a decaf Starbucks treat. I've been more
enthusiastic about cooking than I have been for a long time, and
there's some good things I will continue to cook.
My big challenge will be snacking. Whether or not on paleo, I graze
fairly constantly, and while it's usually always been nuts and carrots
anyway, I'd like to get that under control. My goal is to try to fix
up small meals of leftovers instead of going for the cashews every
time.
