to January 2011 Clean Eating Challenge
I survived! and it was actually easier than any other challenge in
the past. I was very happy with my progress. I learned to not sit
around and dread what I can't have. I never really sat around and let
myself count down the days. I just accepted that this is how I live
now because it's what is best for my body. I went out and found
several new recipes and tried a few I had sitting around. I learned a
new recipe can save me from wanting less than ideal foods. Now
instead of turning to something non Paleo I will turn to a new idea!
I also made more progress in the gym this past 30 days than probably
any other time in my 15 months of crossfit history. I can't say it
was all because of the food though. I was trying to go about 4 to 5
days each week. The great thing about this is I was able to do it!
If I had not been eating so well I am not sure I could have pulled off
that many gym days. I had so much energy and motivation. Goal now:
Have 1 day of eating the things I missed then back on track.
