Greetings all! Hope everyone is doing well as we approach the one
month anniversary of the end of our Clean Eating Challenge.
As many of you requested a PALEO recipe resource or blog, I have
finally got one up and running. Turns out it takes a while to learn
HTML coding and setting up a Word Press Blog - so sorry for the delay.
The site is:
www.cavemanbistro.com
I will be posting there multiple times per week. The posts will
include PALEO recipes, cooking tips and product info that may be of
value to you. There will be tips and tricks to cut your cooking time
with each recipe, and I will post nutritional info for each dish.
Hopefully I will be able to post a finished picture of each recipe as
well, unless I am so hungry I eat it all before I find the camera!
There are several posts up already. Please take a look, make
comments, submit ideas - just so I know the site is working
properly.
Also, if not too much to ask, each recipe post has the ability to post
on Facebook and Twitter, so to get the word out about the site, if you
could please post some of them on your Facebook page, I would
appreciate it.
There is also a small Facebook page I have created called (you guessed
it!)
cavemanbistro.com. We will be using that page in tandem to the
blog site. Please check it out and "like" it as well.
As a Final Final update, I was honored and humbled to 'win" this
year's CEC challenge. I am looking forward to NOT winning again next
year! I really want to check in at the next Challenge as full Paleo
for over a year and completley leaned out so that I can be excited to
watch another Newbie go from Flab to Fab in a month! Hopefully,
cavemanbistro.com will be a resource and tool for helping people stay
in the "clean" zone and excited about PALEO.
In the last month, I have stayed clean, though having a few glasses of
red wine, and discovering a new favorite NOR CAL MARGARITAS! I also
had a few bites of Johnson's chocolate on Valentines Day. Weight loss
has tapered off. I am at just about 40 lbs lost - sitting at 220 down
from about 260.
Thanks again for all your encouragment and support. I look forward to
returning the favor to you in the future! And I look forward to
seeing some of you "cavepeople" on the new blog.
