Reason for abandoning janrain4j

Hello Marcel,
I read your post that you had stopped developing janrain4j because you
had decided not to use janrain because it was too expensive. I am
considering using janrain for a small user base (1000-2000) and I
would be interested in your opinion of the service. Maybe you know of
another service that I can look into?

Secondly, I notice that the example sign-in page refers to: <%@ taglib
prefix="janrain" uri="http://janrain4j.googlecode.com/tags" %>.

Will it be easy for me to configure the software so that it is not
dependent on something that is outside of my control?

BTW, your software seems very nice.
