Does anyone's Chromatone have a background hum

Hello, 

I recently received a white Chromatone as part of the 30 year anniversary. I'm beyond delighted with it. The only thing I've noticed is that there is a very faint background hum when a note beings and ends. I wanted to post to see if anyone else has this issue before taking it to an electronics shop.

If no-one else has it I'm thinking it may be:

1. Some weird voltage issue (I'm in Scotland, I've got a Japanese voltage converter but was wondering if perhaps that's the issue?)

2. A dodgy connection in the keyboard?

3. Perhaps the sound module is not very good (I'm not complaining, delighted I have a chromatone!)

Anywho, I know I can connect it with midi cables to external sound module/DAW but was just wondering if this problem was unique to me?
