Well, we did our bloody best, mates. It was a tough road that was filled with a lot of potholes, but we travelled through with minor scratches! I'm sure that Jane is aware of how much this meant to us -- even if we might be a little down from trailing behind the refugee from a 'TWILIGHT' Convention; or feeling like Miss Sweden losing to Miss Greenland in the Miss Universe Pageant!!! Ah, well...there should be no ill will -- not really (ha!ha!) Me cap is tipped to all of you, for all coming together, as one big endeavour.....

I just wanted to say to the group that its been fun to be part of this. Jane's work has indeed attracted a really great group of people and the effort put forth on her behalf has been a joy to see, and in its own way, as heroic and noble as the characters we all fell in love with.

I'd also like to nominate Alex as Jane's official blogger!

Until the next contest,

Rod

Well, the final outcome didn't favor Zero, but that's okay.  I am thrilled to have gotten that far and scored some visibility for gay romance as a genre.  It's only because of your support and pimpage that the book did so well!  A strong showing against an author with many books under belt and a big following.  I don't feel like I lost anything...well, except that spa gift certificate.

Alex, thanks for being a superstar of PR, and thanks to everyone who voted!

Cheers,
Jane

Congratulations , Jane.  I think that's just an excellent showing and hey, it was close.  For me, that story is just one of the best.  I never tire of reading it.   What a gift it is.

As far as I am concerned Jane and ZatB did not lose!  and when I think of all the people who voted thru out the competition and kept seeing ZatB moving up after each round who will be buying this book to find out what was it that made it hang on clear to the end....WOW!  book sales will be great! and "new" readers converted *grin* so ZatB was and is a winner all-round!
