Don't think this was ever mentioned..

I just watched the baseball movie Calvin Marshall. it's not quite Hollywood, but it clearly has some budget, with Steve Zahn starring. The movie is not really about him though, but about a kid (Calvin, duh) who dreams of being a baseball star.. there's only one little problem. He's got no talent at all.

The soundtrack features an excellent choice of tracks. The Church, The National, Spoon. 

And...

Jandek! Time and Space. :-) I thought that was amazingly cool, I won't spoil where it appears, but it works. Raw and punchy.

Hi,

I seem to recall there was a discussion in the archives making a concerted effort to find Jandek tracks in various media and this movie came up.

Thank you for reminding me, though. I have since become really into baseball (I was even a fantasy baseball champ with my team Tampa Bay Jandeks :P) so I think I will make an effort to see this:)
