Howdy folks,
We're super excited for our first double bill with The Nice Guy Trio. They really are nice and their music is amazing. What's also quite nice is Viracocha - a hip, ambient, antique store/speakeasy sort of space in the Mission with table seating and a small dance floor. So, come and listen and dance and drink and so on to the Jazzy, Klezmer, Balkan and Appalachian sounds of these two fine groups. We'll also be joining together for a few songs so you just aren't going to want to miss this show. Hope to see you there!

The Nice Guy Trio is Darren Johnston on trumpet, Rob Reich on accordion, and Daniel Fabricant on bass. With an emphasis on spontaneity, they create a sound that is both intimate and reflective of their contrasting yet complimentary musical backgrounds. In concert they navigate through a uniquely diverse collection of original compositions and songs from folk traditions all around the globe, from jazz to klezmer to Balkan dance forms, to calypso and beyond.

“They’re a band to watch, with some sterling musicianship and a real sense of fervor about them.” SING OUT!
