Crash at halftime and fulltime

Hey!

We at the Tiger Bay Brawlers love this scoreboard, but I'm finding more often than not it will crash at halftime and full-time, leading to frantic screen-shotting and reseting. The current bout freezes entirely and I have to load up JamTracker and input all the scores in again manually. I'm running it on Mac OS 10.7. Anyone else having this issue?

Hi, 

We use JamTracker at KRG too but haven't seen this crash at halftime. It's been fairly stable when we;ve used it, but that has only been on a Windows machine. 

This might be a silly question but do you have the "end of period" pop up dialogue box appear before the crash? Just thinking it might be appearing behind another window which is causing it to become effectively unresponsive waiting for confirmation that the period is over. There seems to be a little niggle with this dialogue box which I've highlighted in the attached screen grab.

Would love to hear if you managed to get this resolved and if there was an issue to look out for...

I've had a couple of occasions where it was behind the scoreboard window. Nothing an Alt-Tab wouldn't fix but only if you knew.

The same happened to me, period clock ran out, jam timer "went over", once it finished screened greyed out and wouldn't let me adjust final score! Alt-tab did not fix...any suggestions? This seems like a huge oversight/glitch, I like the scoreboard, but will not keep using if this happens...

Yes it would be nice if this bug is fixed. However I believe if you hit ESC you can continue and alter final score and other stats ever after full bout time has elapsed. Need to test this more.

I've found hitting Escape works when the screen greys out after any period.

Seems to only happen on Macs, as far as I can tell. (There is usually a dialog box that pops up confirming the end of the period, but on a Mac I think the dialog doesn't appear above the main window (it's probably below it).

But whenever that's happened, hitting Escape always gives me back control of the scoreboard.

It happens and can happen at end of any period where clock runs out during lineup or jam is stopped. The screen greys out with notification. You can still adjust score there but only with keyboard shortcuts. Our banked league cannot end period during lineup so I'll either make an official timeout to stop clock with a few seconds or hit ok at notification and put one more minute on clock for final jam so it can end in a jam.

It looks like a crash but use the keyboard when it greys.
