Last evening J&K Sports Federation called a press conference and made
demand for addition of "New Sport" for the forth coming All India
Sports Meet. The J&K Sports Federation feels that local talent should
be supported and encouraged constructively. The Federation members
were so excited about the same that they announced that J&K would be
able to secure Gold Medal for this event. If supported and nurtured
properly, their is always a chance to get this new sport selected for
Asian Games and subsequently for Olympics.

The J&K Federation has already sought appointment with the Sports
Minister Mr Ajay Maken to discuss this further. The New Sport is
