Yes, Jam should run just fine on Windows. I must admit I didn't test the
last release on Windows though, so let me know if you run into any issues
and I'll be happy to fix them. Should probably get some CI set up for
that ;)

I'm working on a nice package listing with categories for the website.
It should be available soon. Until then, you can use the repository's
JSON api to view a complete list by name:
http://jamjs.org/repository/_all_docs
(sorry, it's not very pretty).

Is there are any way to install JAM in Windows 7 besides of using command line followed by downloading - 

npm install -g jamjs

?

Because when I run it there are problems with proxy (looks like):

Proxy problems cannot be handled from my job.

What other way to install JAM would you suggest?
