Dear Class,

It is with great disappointment that I am writing this mail. I normally refrain from public admonishments but your behavior over the past few days has forced my hand.

Over the past few days I have seen you guys (and girls) show complete disrespect for any timelines that I have set - be it for giving names or for submitting resumes and profiles. And that too for sending across stuff that is lying in your computers. I shudder to think what you will do when I will make you do things which you might not be comfortable doing. And all this while most of you have been cribbing about how the system doesn't do anything for you and other such claptrap.

So, while I have been running from pillar to post talking to the senior management of both CMS and JMI, a small act like asking you to submit your resumes before a certain date has been an impossible task for you. Would you, at this time, like to ask yourself that with this kind of attitude do you even deserve to get a job?

As I intimated earlier to your CR, I need atleast 30 students to start off this batch and since only 19 students have sent in their resumes before the deadline, therefore I am assuming that there is not enough interest for the program in the batch. Hence, I am herewith withdrawing the program.

Here's wishing you all the best for your final placements!

Regards,
Areeb
P.S. : From now on you have lost the right to criticize the system because you, as students make up the system and when presented with an opportunity to improve the system and set a trend for future batches to follow, you were found severely wanting.

sir,

i agree with u that the students haven't been able to meet deadline to submit profiles and resumes on time, but most students had notion that they had to submit cv's by wednesday not tuesday, most ofthem were unaware of any preponement news and were busy preparing for wednesdays presentations and assignments( basu sir, sunaina mam, wajid sir)

although i am not participating in the program but for the benefit of the students, i request you too revisit your decision, contingencies should be taken account like for e.g chow is severely ill from last saturday, put on slime to recover

i am confident these unwelcome signs are just minor hicups before a long relationship journey

thank you,

yours faithfully,

Rahul Jha
