STUDENT DEBATE ON U.S. & INDIA CONSTITUTIONS. August 2

The U.S. Consulate General in Chennai is calling students, ages 18-25 years old, to participate in a debate competition on U.S. and Indian constitutional law to be held across university campuses in South India between July 26 – September 14, 2019. The competition aims to foster a greater understanding of the values and laws enshrined in the two democracies’ respective constitutions.

The competition for Karnataka students is being held on August 2 Friday at the National Law School of India University at Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru.  Contact: Ms. Padmavathi  pa...@nls.ac.in

The top prize is a Macbook Pro!  Additional prizes include subscriptions to legal databases and trophies.  All participants will receive certificates.

Students must be 18-25 years old. Law students will be preferred although there is no bar on those from other disciplines

Debate will be in English.

Entrance is free.
