I received a message from Bart Bailey asking me if I had heard about Ray. Since it was too late at night to return Bart's call, I did a search and found this obituary of my Uncle Frank and Aunt Pauline's son Ray. When the full obituary is available, I will post it.

As per his wishes, Raymond was cremated under the care and direction of Downard Funeral Home. A full obituary will be in the Sunday edition of the Idaho State Journal. |

As I have more information about Raymond, I will add to this
discussion. Brenda asked if I knew anything about any services for
Raymond, but the only additional information I found was a link for
the funeral home with a portion of the obituary previously posted
listed on there calendar of events.

As per his wishes, cremation has taken place. Arrangements are under
the direction of Downard Funeral Home.

memorial and his page on the Kenneth Elbert Hacking Family Tree on
Ancestry.com. However, the only way I have found it online so far is
through my ObitsArchive subscription so use this link to view it

Deceased Name: RAYMOND FRANK HACKING
POCATELLO - Raymond Frank Hacking, 63, of Pocatello, Idaho, passed
away Wednesday, November 18th, 2009 peacefully while in the company of
family members at a local care center. He was born in Pocatello,
Idaho, on August 21, 1946, the son of the late Henry Franklin and
Pearl Caroline (Tillotson) Hacking. Raymond graduated from Pocatello
High School in 1965. He served in the National Guard in the Vietnam
War from 1966 to 1969.
He worked for the railroad as well as a lineman for the phone company.
Raymond was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day
Saints.
Raymond loved cars, especially '56 Chevys. He loved working on the
railroad. His hobbies included horses, rodeos, fishing and camping as
well as photography. He especially loved his family.
Raymond was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Pearl Hacking;
brothers Vern and Gene; and sisters, Buhla and Lorna. He survived by
two daughters, Stacey Schwausch of Palm Springs, California, and
Michelle L.G. Hacking of Lakewood, Wash.; two sisters, Shirley Parris
of Alabama, and Sharon Nelson of Pocatello, Idaho; two brothers, Lynn
Hacking of Florida, and Craig Hacking of Montpelier, Idaho. He is also
survived by grandchildren, Jeremiah, Jodi, Jennika, Kayla, Kasondra.
As per his wishes, Raymond was cremated under the care and direction
of Downard Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at a later
date at Mountain View Cemetery.
