Very. Local SEO is a big trend now especially in Google. Set target to local or promote pages to local networks.

Google results varies per location. For instance, ranking 1st on Florida does not mean you also rank 1st on Washington. This makes local SEO something you should always consider.

It varies per location, even per local zip code, but I realized that if your page ranks highest in some places, you can automatically assume that it also has a good standing in other cities or countries. There's a difference, yes, but we can continue maintaining their ranking in a specific locale and lessen our worries in other local search results.
