LASM'S
Shane Fay is at Bighorn, due to that I am taking over as much as I can to make sure all orders get fixed, or reordered, or whatever needs to be done to get all the clothing issues fixed. I have sent in a final order to Cindy Powell and the printer, to make sure everything gets fixed. Due to shipping cost Council can only send one package. Tim Brackett with Troop B243 is the most centrally located Troop so all clothes will be individually packaged within the package shipped to Tim. Please get with Tim at Jamboree to pick up your orders, keep in mind the only clothes ordered were what was turned into Cindy this morning, so if there is something that was not communicated to me and added to that list there is no longer anything we can do. I apologize for the inconvenience , but it is all we can do. If there is anything else you need please call me, as it is easier for me to talk to you.
It also needs to be communicated to all Troops, if their child joined the troop late, and/or did not turn in an order form on time, or at all, we ordered their child's clothes in a large, that is not our issue. The parents should not be contacting me, they should be contacting their LASM, who then calls me. I have filtered over 75 phone calls from angry parents, and that is not my job it is a LASM's job to deal with the parents, then mine to talk to the LASM and find an answer.
I also need everyone to know that if there is anything else we need Cindy for the communications need to go through me as well. Shane is the Clothing Quartermaster and he should be the only one calling Cindy. This back and forth with several different people is to much for one person to keep track of. If we all as LASM'S filter the parent calls, then LASM'S contact me, then I call Cindy it is much easier on everyone. Less chiefs........... It will be easier to keep track of what we need where it goes, and whom to contact for what issues.
I apologize for the harsh words, inconveniences, and any problems this causes. If we all work together we can do this correctly, and make sure parents, participants, and Staff have an incredible trip. Please feel free to contact me with anything else I can do to help, or calm parents. I hope you all have a great trip, and a memorable event.
