Thanks for setting up the petition. I signed it and will share it. 

But personally, I think that there is a more effective way to get the message to Gov. Cuomo. 

Governmental staffers are usually required to keep track of all contacts to the office of the elected official who employs them. Electeds are always thinking of how to get out the vote for their next election and they want to know what issues are important to constituents. All emails, phone calls, letters are logged in and even though the Governor might not see the individual items, I am sure that he is made aware of the totals and the issues. 

So here's how you can contact the Governor via email or by phone,
 

And if you call and get an answering machine, make sure you leave your name, phone number & address so they know you're legit.
