As a former resident of Queens and a frequent visitor to Jamaica Bay's shores, I can attest that this bill will help preserve and sustain the hard work that thousands of volunteers have done over the decades to keep this ecosystem healthy and resilient. Please don't undo their work and further poison the bay by allowing toxic fill to be deposited in it. Jamaica Bay is not a dump.
